James Taylor
Senior Partner

Mr. Taylor graduated in May 1990 from Purdue University, Hammond, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and an MBA majoring in finance and economics from the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 1992. Upon graduation he founded Advanced Custom Software (ACS), a software consulting firm that specialized in building custom solutions for the financial sector. Some of the systems that ACS has built include: a stock pricing and selection system for Wellington Management -- enabling portfolio managers and analysts to scan thousands of securities to identify potential trading opportunities, mortgage-backed security pricing calculator for Banc of America Securities, a portfolio management system and equity derivative trading system for Wells Fargo

Capital Markets, and a bond amortization model for the Federal Home Loan Bank of SF, to name a few.

Mr. Taylor has been an active trader since August 1995, developing and applying quantitative systems to the stock, futures, and options markets. Mr. Taylor is a trained technical market analyst with 15+ years experience building automated market-timing/trading systems; experienced in inter-market analysis, trend analysis, probability theory, time series analysis, technical and fundamental analysis, derivative pricing, hedging and risk management.

Mr. Taylor serves as Senior Partner of Tech Trading Corporation, which was formed June 20^th, 2001. Tech Trading Corporation has been registered with the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a CTA since August 23^rd, 2001.

Eric Reeves
Senior Partner

Mr. Reeves graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Before joining Tech Trading, Mr. Reeves founded Valcor Industries, where he designed and produced a line of industrial safety equipment used in the construction of high-rises and commercial buildings. Mr. Reeves has more than 25 years of experience in product design, process analysis, engineering, and re-engineering. Mr. Reeves holds 5 patents on his inventive designs.

Mr. Reeves serves as Senior Partner of Tech Trading Corporation.

Ivan Firsov
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Firsov graduated with highest honors in July 2001 from South Ural State University, Chelabinsk, Russia, where he obtained a Masters of Computer Science Degree. Prior to joining Tech Trading, Mr. Firsov was a senior consultant building quantatative and trade execution systems for hedge funds, built an order execution system for Forex.com, and was the lead architect and developer of the bond pricing and risk analytics system for a leading Wall Street firm.

In April 2007, Mr. Firsov joined Tech Trading as our CTO, building our trade execution and back-testing platform.

The system is the next generation in trading system back-testing, allowing Tech Trading to back-test complex trading strategies across a large portfolio of markets/symbols to measure and optimize performance and more accurately model and manage risk.
